Ka-Ro electronics embodies quality, innovation and reliable manufacturing. Based in Aachen, we specialize in the development of high-performance embedded modules and the production of electronic assemblies—all under one roof.
For over 35 years, we excel in electronic manufacturing. With three state-of-the-art production lines, we not only create our own products, but also offer EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services) to meet diverse customer needs.
Building on our extensive expertise, we expanded our portfolio more than 25 years ago to include premium embedded solutions.
Today, thanks to optimized development, production, and testing processes, we manufacture over 500,000 Linux-based Computer-on-Modules annually. These modules, powered by processors from NXP, ST, and Renesas, are delivered reliably and efficiently, offering a complete solution to our customers.

Ka-Ro electronics was founded in 1988 and has continued to evolve ever since.
From its early days as an EMS provider to the development of our own Computer-on-Modules - our company combines technological innovation with extensive experience.

Ka-Ro and the Kangaroo
The name Ka-Ro is derived from the surnames of our founders, Kaussen and Rosenstein. Here’s a fun fact: the first letters of their names also appear in the word "kangaroo"—which is why a kangaroo fittingly adorns our logo.
It symbolizes progress, energy, and determination, as kangaroos only move forward and cannot jump backward.
